Henger Technology Concludes Successful Participation at MIHAS 2026 in Kuala Lumpur

Henger Technology has concluded its participation at MIHAS 2026, the 22nd Malaysia International Halal Showcase, held from 23 to 26 September 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Exhibiting at booths 2E03 and 2E04, the Henger team presented its slaughtering and meat processing equipment, workshop cleaning and hygiene systems, and cold storage and refrigeration solutions to trade visitors from across the global halal market.

About MIHAS: The Benchmark Event of the Global Halal Industry

Organized by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) under Malaysia's Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, MIHAS is widely regarded as the world's largest dedicated halal trade showcase. The 2026 edition brought together exhibitors and trade visitors from dozens of countries, covering food and beverages, halal ingredients, logistics, certification services, and processing technology. For equipment manufacturers serving halal-certified meat production, MIHAS 2026 in Kuala Lumpur was the year's most concentrated meeting point for buyers, regulators, and project owners across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

What Henger Presented at Booths 2E03 and 2E04

Across the four exhibition days, the Henger booth welcomed a steady flow of processors, project investors, and trading companies. The team presented the company's core product lines for halal meat production:

• Slaughtering and Meat Processing: Complete cattle, sheep, pig, and poultry slaughter lines, including the Halal Rotating Slaughter Box for halal-compliant slaughter, the Splitting Saw, the Cutting Conveyor Line, and the Vacuum Packaging Machine for wholesale distribution.

• Workshop Hygiene and Cleaning: The Crate Washing Machine, Meat Cart Washing Machine, Automatic Boot Washer, and Foam Cleaning System that form the sanitation layer of a compliant processing plant.

• Cold Chain and Refrigeration: Industrial Cold Storage and Blast Freezer solutions that protect product quality from the kill floor to dispatch.

Visitor conversations focused on turnkey plant planning, halal slaughter line configuration, and the equipment packages needed to meet buyer and certification requirements in regional markets. Many visitors left with project consultations scheduled for follow-up after the show.

Cambodian Commerce Official Visits Henger Booth

A highlight of the exhibition was the visit of His Excellency Nam Lynal, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, to the Henger booth. H.E. Nam Lynal was in Kuala Lumpur during the exhibition period heading a Cambodian Ministry of Commerce delegation for trade and investment exchanges with Malaysian business organizations.

During the booth visit, the Henger team introduced the company's halal slaughter equipment configurations, plant hygiene systems, and cold chain solutions, and exchanged views on the development of Cambodia's meat processing sector and the equipment requirements of modern halal-compliant facilities. The discussion reflected the growing attention that government trade agencies across Southeast Asia are paying to food processing infrastructure, and it opened a direct channel for future communication between Henger Technology and Cambodian market stakeholders.

Why the Halal Market Matters to Henger

Halal compliance is built into Henger Technology's slaughter line engineering. The Halal Rotating Slaughter Box supports halal slaughter requirements in commercial processing, and the company's project references include a 300 head per day halal cattle slaughter line delivered in South Africa, serving certified halal beef markets. For processors planning halal production, Henger also publishes practical guidance on halal slaughter certification and equipment requirements, covering the standards that certification bodies across the Middle East and Southeast Asia apply.

Southeast Asia sits at the center of the global halal market, with Malaysia recognized as a benchmark for halal certification and Cambodia and its neighbors investing in modern food processing capacity. Exhibiting at MIHAS 2026 allowed Henger Technology to meet this demand where it gathers, and to present factory-direct equipment and engineering support to the region's processors and project developers.

Looking Ahead

The MIHAS 2026 exhibition has closed, but the conversations continue. The Henger team is following up on the project consultations gathered during the show, including inquiries from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and will continue to support halal market processors with equipment configuration, plant planning, and after-sales service.

Henger Technology was established in 2018 and holds over 60 equipment patents. The company maintains collaborative research partnerships with Tianjin University of Commerce and Binzhou University, and its engineering team brings over 15 years of industry experience to every project. In 2026, the company presented its equipment at international exhibitions including Seoul Food and Hotel and MIHAS in Kuala Lumpur, serving processing plants across more than 100 countries and regions.
