The Evisceration Workflow
After dehairing, the clean carcass moves to the evisceration station. The Evisceration Hanging Conveyor is composed of a conveying chain, pulley frame, T-shaped track, hanging plate, drive device and tensioning device. The T-shaped track and conveying chain are made of stainless steel, and the hanging plate is made of food-grade stainless steel.
The conveyor adopts frequency conversion speed regulation with overload protection and an emergency stop button. Speed can be adjusted based on production capacity requirements, matching the throughput needs of your operation.
Offal Handling & Carcass Cleaning
The Offal Picking Workbench provides a hygienic platform for operators to pick and sort chicken offal. Made of food-grade stainless steel with a smooth surface and integrated water supply and drainage system, it can flush away offal residues and blood stains promptly — reducing cross-contamination and improving offal processing efficiency.
The Pre-cooling Cleaning Machine is hung on the evisceration conveyor line and used to clean the carcass after evisceration. It prevents blood, feathers and internal organ residues from entering the pre-cooling water. The shell is made of stainless steel with a moderate number of nozzles arranged for thorough coverage of the entire carcass.
Automated Claw Cutting
The Automatic Claw Cutting Machine handles the claw cutting step efficiently. Available in linear and 180° configurations to match your line layout, the machine uses a motor to directly drive the saw blade. Chickens are conveyed into the guide rail, and claws are cut off as they pass through the high-speed rotating blade.
The result is high efficiency, uniform incisions and significant labor savings — improving the throughput of the body processing stage.
FAQ
What steps are involved in chicken body processing?
Chicken body processing includes fine hair removal, evisceration, carcass cleaning, pre-cooling rinse, claw cutting and unhooking. Each step is supported by dedicated equipment designed to prepare a clean, tidy and market-ready carcass.
How does the equipment ensure hygienic evisceration?
Equipment is made of food-grade stainless steel with smooth, continuous welds and no horizontal edges where bacteria could accumulate. Integrated water supply and drainage systems and flush-mounted nozzles allow thorough cleaning between carcasses, minimizing cross-contamination throughout the evisceration process.
What happens to chicken by-products during body processing?
Chicken by-products such as claws and offal are collected separately through dedicated equipment and conveyors. Claws are processed through the Chicken Claw Processing Machine, while offal is sorted on the Offal Picking Workbench — ensuring clean, efficient handling that maximizes product utilization.
