Automatic Claw Cutting Machine

Product Introduction:

The Henger Automatic Claw Cutting Machine is efficient chicken processing equipment used to cut chicken claws in chicken slaughter lines, perfectly matching the chicken body processing link of our chicken slaughter solutions.

It is divided into a linear claw cutting machine and a 180° claw cutting machine according to the use position. The linear claw cutting machine is used for claw cutting on a straight production line, and the 180° claw cutting machine is used for claw cutting at the rotating wheel.

It adopts a motor to directly drive the saw blade. The chicken is driven by the conveyor line to enter the guide rail, and the chicken claws are cut off when passing through the high-speed rotating saw blade. It has high efficiency, uniform incision and saves labor, improving the efficiency of our chicken slaughter solutions.

How It Works

Chickens approach the claw cutting station on the conveyor. The linear machine is positioned along straight sections of the line; the 180° machine is designed for use at rotating wheel junctions where birds change direction.

As the bird enters the guide rail, it passes through a high-speed rotating saw blade that slices through both claws cleanly in a single pass. The motor-driven blade delivers consistent, uniform cuts across every bird, regardless of claw size or angle.

Linear vs. 180° Configuration

The Linear Claw Cutting Machine is installed along straight conveyor sections — ideal for facilities with a linear production layout.

The 180° Claw Cutting Machine is installed at rotating wheel positions where the conveyor changes direction — suitable for operations using a circular or wheel-shaped hanging conveyor system.

Both configurations deliver the same clean, uniform cutting performance, with selection based on your specific production line layout.

FAQ

What are the main specifications of this equipment?

Key specifications include linear and 180° configurations, motor-driven saw blade cutting, guide rail feeding system, and high-efficiency uniform cutting. The machine is designed for installation at different points in your production line. Detailed specifications for cutting capacity and power are available based on your selected model.

How does this equipment contribute to meat quality?

Clean, uniform claw incisions reduce the risk of bone splinters and tissue damage that could affect the carcass appearance and shelf life. The motor-driven blade provides consistent cutting force across every bird, eliminating the variability that comes with manual cutting. Efficient claw removal also prevents claw fragments from entering the subsequent processing stages.

What maintenance is required for this equipment?

The saw blade should be inspected regularly for wear and sharpness. Worn blades should be replaced promptly to maintain cutting quality. The guide rail, drive motor and bearing assemblies should be checked periodically for proper function. The machine should be cleaned and sanitized after each shift to remove bone fragments and blood residues.

Is this equipment suitable for small-scale or large-scale operations?

The Automatic Claw Cutting Machine is available in linear and 180° configurations to suit operations of different scales and line layout. Both configurations can be integrated into small, medium and large-scale chicken slaughter lines based on your production requirements.
